Virgo as perfection. Virgo as the analyst. Virgo as the maiden. To contemplate and then create. To organize. To systemize a grounded routine. There’s a practicality and deliberateness in the detail. Logic is highly present in Virgo’s approach as she’s very connected to the material world. 

Ruled by Mercury or Ceres depending on your interpretation, this sign is mutable earth. Earth signs have a utilitarian practicality woven throughout their expression and often prefer that which can be experienced physically: feel/ touch/ taste/ see. Mutability wants the exchange and the interaction that gives and receives. 

Virgo is known for its ability to seek improvement and solve that which needs solution through grounded discernment. Here creativity receives inspiration from its environment. Thriving on routine, Virgo traditionally falls in the sixth house of service - being careful not to let that service extend into martyrdom. 

At its highest expression, Virgos are an invaluable support. Like all earth signs, labor or working comes naturally. Inevitably Virgoan energy encounters a time for reaping the fruits from all its effort. At a soul level, there’s a deep connection with periods of harvest within natural cycles.
