April 20 - May 20

Taurus’ glyph is the bull, evoking imagery of a slow and steady being. Like a bull, this sign is able to persevere and has a grounded quality. Taurus represents fixed earth in the wheel of the zodiac. Fixed signs are often concerned with stability, food, money, and the practical daily rhythm of maintaining this security.

Taureans need time - there’s an inward nature to their creativity. Working through things has a deliberate and contemplative essence. However, despite its stable, dependable, and grounding nature - it’s worth releasing Taurus from the belief that everything needs a fully formed plan before moving forward.

This earth spirit evokes imagery of gardening and the abundant beauty in the natural world. With Venus as the ruling planet, there’s a physical, tactile essence to this beauty. Although Taurus excels at art, food, wine, architecture, gardening, and the outdoors - anchoring us into the physical dimension - it can also help us go deeper by reconnecting with the land and the spiritual side of nature.

Ruled by Venus, the heart, it can help us listen with our heart. Its very Taurean to deepen our connection with the natural world to open the channel to the heart.

*Note - sun sign placement is impacted by other placements in the chart.
